As promised, I will find International Film Festivals around the world, that includes some super Italian films in their programme. The Fantasporto 2011 will kick of in Oporto, Portugal on the 25th February 2011 and raise hell until the closing film on the 5th March 2011. There is as yet no official programme ( yes chaps on the 20th of February uhmm) still always on the case bringing you the hottest news about Italian films, I can confirm that in competition this year from Italy will be :
Febre da Fienno , Hayfever
and 18 years later 18 anni dopo
I agree unusual choices but lets back this decision made by Portugal and run with it.Once the programme is out, I shall update you on WHO we are up against , for the moment though if planning a trip to Oporto , make sure you catch these film.
