Italian Box Office; great to see an Italian Film Leading the Flock

Agis, has released the Box Office figures up to the 8th of June 2011, I am surprised but delighted to see the top two films are Italian, I expected an American Bockbuster to have come in first. Whoop, Whoop I think that calls for some kind of celebration………..cassata with a small glass of Vino Santo

Top Ten at the Italian Box Office so far for 2011 are:

1.  Che Bella Giornata, What a beatiful Day Directed by Gennaro Nunziante (Italy) Takings  43.451.537 – admissions 6.825.411

2.  Qualunquemente, Whatsoeverly directed by Giulio Manfredonia (Italy) Takings 15.863.974 – admissions 2.481.989

3.  The Pirates of the Caribbean directed by Gore Verbinski (USA) Takings 15.205.536 –  admissions 1.897.599

4.  Immaturi, The Juveniles directed by Paolo Genovese  (Italy) Takings 15.151.158 – admissions 2.593.404
